The Dyna S DS3-1 is a self-contained electronic ignition system designed to replace the original points assembly in specific 1977-1978 Suzuki GS550 and GS750 models equipped with Kokusan Denso (KD) ignition systems. It utilizes a magnetic rotor with the original spark advancer, maintaining the factory advance curve.

Note: This ignition system is compatible only with models equipped with Kokusan Denso (KD) ignition systems. To verify compatibility, remove the points cover and check the advancer; it should be stamped with "KD." If it's stamped "ND" (Nippondenso), the DS3-2 ignition system is required instead.
