This VintCo piston kit is designed for 1974-1975 Yamaha YZ250 models and provides a replacement piston assembly for vintage 2-stroke engine rebuilds. It is manufactured using modern materials and production methods for OEM-style fit and performance, and includes the piston, rings, pin and clips for straightforward installation. This kit is intended for use with Nikasil-plated or iron-lined cylinders only; the supplied rings are not compatible with the original chrome-plated Yamaha cylinder used on 1974-1975 YZ250 models. A wrist pin bearing is available separately, and additional size options are also available.
