VintCo SLM03A is a USA-made cast-iron cylinder sleeve for 1973-1980 Maico 440 models, including the GS 440 applications listed below. Made for VintCo by Advanced Sleeve, it is a replacement sleeve for vintage engines and is intended for installation by an experienced and qualified machinist. It uses modern materials and manufacturing techniques for OEM-equivalent or better fitment and performance, with correctly angled ports to reduce port-matching work. This sleeve can be bored and honed to suit the stock-size VintCo piston kit, and 1973-1977 applications require extra machine work.
